Now thats a good idea as you can see the quality of the water in the system.

However, how can they look acceptable when the water is usually the colour of tea or coffee?

working with glass waste pipes is dangerous enough,dont fancy the idea of radiators.Dont think heat transfer would be too special.
 
Maybe you could put glow in the dark fluid in them, then you wouldn't need to use electricity to light your house, the radiators would do it for you :D
 
glass flow and returns could be handy for finding any blockages, you'd be able to see the cold feed blocked....


then again, if the pipework is glass, and the radiators don't suppose they'd corrode the same
 
Dunno but you could probably kiss goodbye to your house insurance!, bg training centres used to have setups with clear pipes and rads to shut flow off and demonstrate different faults.
 
Liquid crystal dye.... constant colour change according to the changing temperature of the water throughout the radiator. Could get rid of the telly!
