I couldn't decide whether this should do in "Decorating and Painting" or "Flooring" and didn't want to double-post it, so I've chosen this one...
I have very pale maple laminate flooring (like cream colour in places) at home with a smooth satin finish. I would like a gloss finish on the floors. There are tons of gloss varnishes on the market but almost all of them seem to be for wood/concrete etc with none saying for laminate. Also, most are oil or polyurethane based and therefore yellow slightly over time.
I want to gloss this laminate floor without yellowing at all. I have considered two products. Could you let me know if you think they are suitable and also if you can think of any other suitable products? I don't want to key/abrade the laminate or do anything other than just painting it on and letting it dry.
1.
The "2-part" process has got me worried about complexity on that one

PS In case anyone recommends these from the Rustins site, I don't think they'll work:
a. Rustins Acrylic Floor Coating

This one apparently won't yellow cos its acrylic, but it says for unsealed surfaces so I guess it won't sink into the nonporous laminate properly. I actually have a small tin of this in the house somewhere from a couple of years ago which I used for something else ... I'm sure it won't work though.
b. This seems suitable, but only Satin and I need Gloss.

c. This is just a cleaner, I need a gloss finish.
