hot water flow just dribbling out,cold is fine.Has anyone got any ideas

may only be blocked filter on cold inlet or blocked dhw heat exchanger..
was it slowly getting worse

should i change plate exchanger or whats the best way of cleaning it.Thinking of labour costs verses part cost

you can take it out and clean it with a descaler eg kettle descaler. if you look at the boiler you have two screws what hold the unit and it pulls away sealed with orings
dont forget to drain first

how long would it take for kettle de-scaler to work

no done loads and there fine a little silicone lube helps (not silicon in a tube)
the lube like washing up liquid.

cheers gasandoilman for your help. i always used to replace them but now i will de-scale. Could i use any of the kamco range as a de-scaler

supose so but may be expensive i pour in kettle descaler in you see it bubble through and works a treat

filling loop not turned off properly (plastic grey handle underside of boiler in the middle)
