Glow Worm Switches On When Cold Water Run

I have Glow Worm Ultracom 30CXI. Its a great boil and been installed a year but has just started switching itself on when the cold water is run. It comes on for about 30 sec sounding like it is getting ready for action - which it should not do because it is only the cold water that has been run.

Yesterday I was plumbing in a new hot and cold tap and the problem has started since then.

Before anyone asks no I have not connected cold to hot and visa versa !!

Anyone any ideas ?

You've got an air pocket, probably in the pipe leading to a hot tap upstairs which you haven't used yet since your work. Run all taps one at a time until they stop coughing air out.

Got it in one !!

Opened up all the taps, ran off some water, problem solved.
