I have a gloworm energy saver 50 condensing boiler that leaks condensate down back of boiler.I have removed condensate drain fitting and cleaned out but leak is still there,I belive there is a blockage as it only leakes when boiler has been running for some time.Is there any other access to clean heat exchanger drain on these models. Many thanks

It's a flawed design, your boiler is almost certainly scrap.

Generally the heat exchanger casing is too far gone to do anything, these are dying like flies now.

Dying like flies? My Energysaver 50 was installed in 1996 and is still running well. I think the heat exchanger was swapped out, under warranty, in the first year. It is the easiest boiler for maintenance as , other than the condensate pipe, so easy to replace parts. If you've got big hands it's a struggle to replace. I don't go near the gas pipes. I've replaced a vacuum unit, thermostat cut outs, thermocoupler and some insulation bits. My only worry is spare parts are becoming more difficult to obtain. Don't know why they stopped making these.

well congrats on Hi_jacking an old post against site rules, glad to see you are properly maintaining your boiler, especially the thermocoupler as you call it, which your boiler does not have , but hey ho keep telling everyone about how good you are at working on these piles of shoite
