My Boiler was fixed by BG 2 monsth ago when it wouldn't light and kept making the sparking noise. As suggested on here it was a blocked pilot injector....BG blew it clean, ran some water through it and all was fine.

Now 2 months later it lights fine first time still, ignition spark stops, but it keeps making the noise as if it is relighting every 30 seconds.....what could it be this time? Even though it is fully alight it keeps making the noise as if the blue flame (not very technical I know) is lighting all over again even though it is fully alight.

Thanks anyone who can advise.

We don't give advice on gas/combustion issues here.

Its difficult to tell from your description but might be a loss of flame detection.

But with BG cover the obvious solution is to call them again.

Out of interest is there a sensor for this or will it be PCB?

BG booked for Monday morning.

It is less likely to be the PCB but still a possibility.

But just leave it to BG who everyone knows always fix you boiler and even the very old ones!
