Hi,
wonder if anyone can help. Its Boxing Day here in the frozen north (Northumberland) and I can't get the boiler to fire up. Not good.

Was okay last night but wont fire this morning.

When timer is calling for the boiler to fire, the fan starts for a second and runs but immediately stops, then starts again then stops and continues to go on in this mode. the boiler does not reach its ignition or firing point.

When I put a live jumper directly from the live terminal from the terminal strip directly to the live terminal on the fan motor the fan runs permanently and the boiler fires up as normal.

Any ideas why the fan is hunting in this way.??

Many thanks Geoff B. :(
