Hi,
I want to fit a piece of 25mm PIR board (25mm x 200mm x 2000mm) to a window header/reveal, mostly as a packer but also for some extra insulation against the metal catnic.
I know that technically you can't fix large foil backed sheets with grab adhesive etc, but is this practically true for a small piece like this? It's quite wide so it won't really get significant support from the plaster board on the reveal either side, as it would if the window was only, say, 600mm wide.
It's difficult for me to chuck a few screw in because all I can hit is either polystyrene or steel!
Thanks
Gary
