Just some advice gentlemen please, as I haven't come across this before and haven't seen the job yet.
An aquaintance has just called me to say that the stainless sink, slung beneath the aforesaid worktop, has started to come adrift and is hanging down. She reckons that no clips etc are visible that hold it in place.
My question - how is the sink secured? Is there a special adhesive or something? Any tips at all?
Thanks for reading, and good morning
John :)

Thanks for that, foxhole - I haven't installed granite before.
I'll see the job on Monday and see what transpires.

They forgot to drill a taphole..

Another way is to have a solid top on the unit ,then do a cutout for the sink making sure that the sink is flush with the top of the carcase . silicone it in place to seal it .. then place the granite on top again using a clear silicone to seal it in place .. never had one move using this method.

Only prob .. is a right bugg**r to get out if you want to change it .

I have seen unsupported sinks that were stuck up with silicone alone.

By the time I saw them they were in the bottom of the cabinets.

A refreshing update.....the said sink was stuck in place with silicone, nothing else.
I've now supported the bowl with timber bearers.
Mind you, the owner only paid just over £15k for her kitchen, so what do you expect? :p
