i have a grant euroflame, which i have recently serviced myself. (I did what the manual told me etc). I was told i also needed to check co2 so managed to borrow a analyser from a friend of a friend, the co2 seemed ok, but i noticed the flue temp was quite a bit higher than it should be. Is it going to cause me a problem and should i be doing anything else?

If you are concerned about Flue Gas Temperature why not share the reading with us, so we can comment/advise, a Euroflame should run at approx 180'c - 200'c +/- 20'c or so ;)

How do you get a negative amount of CO? I always thought 0 was as far down as is possible.

Some Electronic Analysers do give a Negative reading on CO, this should be read as ZERO ;)

I wouldn't trust a FGA that showed a negative reading, unles I had zeroed it in contanimated air.

Is the oil pressure and air setting correct? You might be firing to much mixture into the combustion chamber?

Some of the Older Maester Analysers frequently gave negative CO readings.

262'c is very high for a Euroflame, sounds like it may be over-firing, has somebody set it up incorrectly i.e a 50/70 boiler set up to 70/90 specification?
