Howdy Plumbing chaps.
Ive messed with a few gravity fed systems over the years ie pump/ valve replacements but Im a bit stumped after helping a mate clean his system and change leaky valves.
Its gravity fed and heated via gas back boiler. It only has 1 tank that feeds the HW cylinder and tops the CH up. Is this correct?????
Always come across 2 tanks.
Hes ran bath after putting cleanser in the downstairs rads and the water is brown.
Is there any chance that the CH water can get back into the HW cylinder.
Im working on assumption its just crap from bottom of header (although it is plastic and pretty new).
Cheers.
