I have basic very old heating system run on ideal super 3/50 boiler, just pump only, its has room thermostat only , no cylinder stat fitted.
using and fitted with Potterton ep 2000 timer.

When I turn on heating at the same time water hot water switch on as well, but no option for hot water only.

I would like to control heating separately and hot water separately.

I need advice which wiring be suitable for my heating system.

I was thinking of Hive hub and thermostat installing.

To get the control you want it will need new control valves fitting to isolate the heating and hot water circuits, then rewiring

You have Gravity Hot water, to do what you desire could be a big and expensive job, doesnt matter which control you fit, you need zone valves installed to get individual settings
