I hope someone can help? Our house has a largish plot at the side in between our house (part of our garden) and the neighbours property, enough for 4 bedroom (c1900 sq ft) detached house. Unfortunately we are in the Greenbelt in a 'washed over village' (Guilden Sutton, Chester). Our property, whilst being in this village (by postal address) is 0.75 miles from the built up centre of the village so we are not sure if we can take advantage of the infill policies that seem to apply in the planning rules. Could anyone confirm this and if there is a point spending c£3k on architect and planning fees or are we wasting our time? In some places we have read that it is highly unlikely we will get permission, but in other places there seems to be a chink of hope. Any opinions/advice would be gratefully received. Many thanks.
