Whilst drawing off hot water the supply suddenly goes cold.After a few moments hot water flows.
This can be a nasty experience when having a shower.
Have checked that no other outlet is running at same time.
Any ideas, please.

Do you mean that if you have the heating on and open a HW tap that you get HW then a slug of cold water then the HW heats up and is fine ?

The heating is not on. The initial cold in pipe has been drawn off. Only drawing hot water from tap or shower.

Run a hot tap and watch the display on the front of the boiler. Does it reach 82c then cut out then relight when the display temp drops

Unfortunately, the boiler is in the loft and so out of bounds for me.
When my Son comes along he will be encouraged to check it out.
Then I will, have to, get in touch with makers?
