We have a Grohe Adagio concealed cistern which recently started to take a long time to fill between flushes. It was very well "concealed" so took a while to get to it to take a look. In the meantime, water has started coming through the ceiling below.
Having had a look, it seems the problem is with the fill/float assembly (see photo I'll attempt to attach or link to). Basically, when the toilet's been flushed and the cistern starts to fill, water sprays out of the fill/float thing in all directions, but mostly upwards and through the gap between the cistern and its lid.
The fill/float/inlet thing (not sure what it's called) does look in poor shape, covered in all sorts of scale, etc., so I guess it needs replacement. Can anyone help with where to find it and/or how to fit it??
