I have put down travertine tiles in our bathroom and am ready to grout them. Shold I fill all the holes in the travertine with grout, or leave them natural?

I suspect I should fill them, to avoid them collecting dirt and going mouldy, but would appreciate any other thoughts and opinions.

Also, I'd welcome any other general tips on grouting and sealing travertine tiles.

Thanks!

You paid extra for the holes, it's a shame to fill them!

You might find the lady of the house has strong views about the holes, though I agree with you about dirt.

Strong views on dirt as well though! I think I'll fill them in, otherwise I'll be left with a lot of very small puddles whenever the floor gets wet. Just wondering if anyone had actually done this (or chosen not to), and what the pros and cons are.
