Hello,

I'm going to be regrouting my sandstone patio.

Do I use a dry mix, semi-dry or any other mix.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You can use any mix you like.
Pros and cons with them all.
A wet mix could stain the the paviors, which is a sod to get off.
If you use a dry mix, a 4:1 mortar mixture is mixed dry with no water added, you can sweep and push the joints down and repeat until your happy they are fully filled, then get rid of any left overs and let nature take it's course.
The surface most be clean and dry and the joints well raked out.
The other is the totally dry method just using special sands.

do yourself a favour and don't use a dry mix. I use plastering sand as it doesn't stain as badly but is fine enough to be a good strength.

If your particularly nervous about staining try rompox easy or rompox drain. Or other similar polymeric's
