Am just about to fit a new mixer shower however the water pressure is not great so am planning to add a pump.
The easiest option will be to locate this in the loft space above the bathroom however this will only leave the outlet from the coldwater tank, which will provide the supply, aprox 300mm above the Pump.

Is this a problem? I seem to recall reading somewhere previously that a specific head distance is required between the pump & the supply.if so is this a general rule or specific to each individual pump?

Thanks

Most pumps need to be fitted at the base of the HW cylinder, or at least below the shower head.

If the loft is your only option, then you need to check out a negative pump I believe.

Think you will find all you need to know on the instructions that come with the pump. ;)
