Hi, the DHW HEX has gone on the above boiler, replacement part is 6281525 which is a 16 plate HEX.

I've found part 6281535 which is an 18 plate HEX and the size and fittings are the same (albeit a little fatter due to the additional plates).

6281535 was introduced to replace an earlier part on the Format 100C and 80C models (they were 14 plate versions). This part is not listed as a replacement on the Format 110C however which is what my question is about.

I am presuming that as the 110C has a 16 plate HEX Part 6281635 is not listed as an option. I am sure it will fit and my question is what are the possible pitfalls, problems in doing this? I am hoping that as the 100C has a replacement from a 14 plate to 18 plate there should not be much of a problem in replacing a 16 plate with an 18 plate HEX.

Part should arrive tomorrow, and before anyone asks I got the 6281535 instead of the 6281525 because I found a new one for £50 as opposed to £130 for the 6281525!!

Thanks for any help!

Cheers
