heating for hot water

hello. i have a potterton profile. would like some advice before i call gas guy so at least ill have some idea. did some plumbing years ago so im not the worst. i have profile and 2 x2 port valves .honeywell. however to get hotwater i have to put on heating? what s going on? on 3 port i understand . no one has fiddled with wiring just started last 3 weeks or so. thanks

Auxiliary switch in the HW 2 port valve not closing when the valve opens.

There should be a permanent 230v on grey wire and 230v on the orange when calling for HW to be heated. (If it's wired back to front just change this round!)

Replace the 3 port diverter valve.. the exact same thing happened to my heating a few months ago

Er... how can he replace a three port valve when he does not have a three port valve in his system?
