I went to boost my heating a moment ago and nothing happened. There's no sound from the motorised valve (I have a pair of 2-port valves) and the boiler doesn't fire. Hot water works fine.

I've followed the advice in FAQ No. 10 to manually operate the valve and heat water, this has warmed up the rads. I have booked somebody to come round from the company that fitted the system just under a year ago.

Any other advice? Should I try to replace the motor by myself?

How do you know that it is the motor?. It could be the room stat etc, etc.

I called C. Anderson, who fitted it. They are coming tomorrow.

Any opinions on them?
