heatline boiler hot water problem need help

hi all my dad has a heat line combi boiler when he opens up the hot tap no hot water comes out but all the lights on the boiler come on and it fires up. heating works fine. the flow valve is all clean ond works fine. at a loss? does any one know anthing about these? many thanks

when you open the tap boiler fires .does the flow pipe get hot ?if this happens then it might be diveter valve letting flow out of the boiler .

hi will get him to check. if it is does this mean he needs a new valve.

before you get anyone to repair the boiler or buy parts please be aware the cost of parts on this boiler are bad

It sounds as if the diverter motor is not operating.

Two checks, does the voltage get correctly applied to the diverter motor?

Does the diverter pin come out and give DHW when the motor is unclipped?

Its almost as cheep to buy a whole new boiler than just one part.



This twitter is odd. I set up there and several people I dont know are following me ! Why do they follow someone they dont know? Are they muggers? Mostly female though. You dont see that on Gas Safe!
