Hello,
Hoping someone in the know can shed a bit of light on the issues we are having with our hot water, we have a Heatline combi c28 and the hot water is intermittent.
We were told most likely caused by the heat exchange or DHW valve- the valve fault light recently started flashing for this so we have changed the valve and it has made a noticeable improvement but is still far from sorted. The valve we bought was the correct part number but have now seen some others (also on ebay) with the same part number but look slightly different- closer to the original, are there different quality/sizes that would explain the improvement but why its not completely sorted? If not any ideas as to what is causing the problem.
Also we heard there are various bits you can rinse out if they are filled with sludge- what bits do you recommend, and is there anything else we can do ourselves to try and sort? We have already had someone out who said problem was most likely either of the above but was very relunctant to work on it- had this with another person we called are these boilers particularly tricky??
Sorry for the long post and lots of questions- any advice most gratefully received!
