I have a customer with a Heatslave 15/19 that has just started to lose pressure rapidly...but intermitently. Several months ago it beagn to lose pressure and I found the Diaphram was split on the vessel so I replaced it and all was well until about two weeks ago. Now the customer is losing pressure sometimes two or three times a day and then sometimes it will go for several days without any loss then lose all pressure in one afternoon!
I have placed a container over the Pressure release outlet and it's still empty so there is no water coming out of there. There are no signs of a water leak anywhere in the house (although some pipes do run underground) If there is a system leak losing enough water to drop the pressure to zero three times in a day I would expect to see signs of water/damp somewhere and would expect the pressure to drop gradually not suddenly (or intermitently).
Anybody got any ideas (I'm really an oil burner man so the wet bits aren't my real area of expertise)
