When I turn the cold water taps off.
I think I know why - the supply to the boiler is a long way off the main water supply inlet, so the pressure into the boiler drops when I open a cold water tap.
When I close the cold water tap, the pressure in the system increases, making the boiler think there's demmand from the hot water supply, and the boiler fires up needlessly.
Is my theory correct, and if it is, what can I do about it?
