heatslave 20 locks out

hi,
i was desperatley repairing my heatslave and checked all the posts on the forum. Finally the boiler fired up when removing the horizontal flue box and the round lid. There was a blast of ash and black smoke before it settled down. The phot cell is clean but it locks out now and again and I think there must be loads of soot gathered in there. Can it be cleaned?

yes.but would then need setting up properly with the aid of about 6-700 quids worth of equipment.would recommend getting an oil engineer out.or run the risk of major damage to the boiler.
