Hello,

I am looking for some advice regarding where to finish wall tiles, the ceiling is 2.7m high and the tiles are 50cm high. I plan to tile one and a bit walls for the shower over the bath and the other walls to about 1.3m as this then leaves about 15cm above the window sill which looks about right. Also this seems like a good height to start the fitted wall cupboards/mirror which are going all along the final side of the walls.

I can not decided how to finish the walls for the shower, should I tile to the ceiling or finish at the last full tile? What is the norm. Last full tile would be about 40cm from the top.

Thanks
Andrew

So that is 2 for the ceiling, it would certainly make life easier when it comes to getting a level on the other walls which is pleasing to the eye and suits the cupboard height. But does it not look a bit funny with one and a bit walls up to the ceiling and the rest at 1.3m or so?

I think that I will probably go to the ceiling for the reasons I have just stated.

Any more opinions are welcome.

Thanks
Andrew
