Been having problems with the hot water pressure on my boiler.

The problem is that bad, it takes a good 35 mins to fill the bath up.
To get a half decent temp i have to have the tap running a trickle, i'm also unable to use the mixer shower because of this.

I have noticed when i ask the boiler for hot water the boiler fires up with the flames on full but after about 5 seconds the flames drop to a much smaller flame. This happens when i ask for either heating or hot water.

I'm Thinking changing the temperature sensor.

But would require some advice first

Thanks Marty

I'm Thinking changing the temperature sensor.

Easy to do as its a dry pocket, make sure there's plenty of heat sink compound on the new one.

The problem could be a blocked plate heat exchanger, you would need to do some temp measurements on the flow & returns and hot & cold to know
more.

Will try and get the temperatures from the flow and return and the hot (why the cold ?).

What temps would i expect to get if the boiler was running good.

Where is the heat plate exchange and Whats involved in cleaning it.

Many thanks

Marty

Plate heat is at the back, bottom, middle of boiler
