I have just moved into a new property adn have a Potterton Combi Lynx boiler. We initially turned it on for the first time and there was leak because the water pressure was too high and it burst a valve. This was fixed by the plumber and the pressure was returned to 2 bars. We now have a big problem with the heating and hot water, basically when you put it on, it heats up for around 1 1/2hrs then cools down with no heating or hot water even though the demand light remains on. When you attempt to time it the heating does not come on or get any hot water. The way you get it back is by actually turning the boiler off and then on again and it works for the next 1 1/2hrs again. Please urgently advise!
