Help! I need to correct my newly red painted walls

I just painted my daughters walls red without using a primer (BIG MISTAKE) I have lots of uneven areas and need to somehow correct them. Can I just paint over the red paint with a tinted primer and repaint them with the red again? I have already applied 3 coats of the red paint
