Looking to get a Mitre Saw for some basic home DIY stuff like cut skirting board, flooring and coving.
Probably got £150 budget and I've seen a couple
Makita MLS100 250mm
http://www.screwfix.com/p/makita-mls100-2-250mm-compound-mitre-saw-240v/49074
ErBauer ERB238MSW 255mm Sliding Mitre Saw
http://www.screwfix.com/p/erbauer-erb238msw-255mm-sliding-mitre-saw-230v/33776
Both seem to get good reviews and I'm leaning towards the Makita but not sure if I need to go for a sliding saw or not?
If I went for the Makita what's the maximum size skirting board that I could cut and also what width of laminate floor (is it 250mm for the flooring?)
Would I need to upgrade the blade as well to make sure I get a nice fine cut?
Thanks
