We have a limestone fireplace and recently had to have the room it's in replastered. We were told to protect the stone so we sealed it up with correx very thoroughly as instructed . The plastering was done and all seemed fine. We kept the mantel sealed until the plaster was dry and had the first miscoat on.

On removing the correx the whole mantel has an orange plaster dust colour to it. What should we do?!?

We have used a hairdryer to gently blow away the surface dust already.
