Hi,
We moved into our house recently and have had no hot water. The heating works fine and the combi boiler (celsia 24le) looks to be working normally - pressure about 1.8, lights on and everything. Just no hot water at all!

The previous owner left a note saying the hot water wasn't coming through to the kitchen sink, but now it's not coming through to the bathroom sink or bath either. The light next to the heating dial on the boiler is on, but the light next to the hot water dial isn't on (not sure if it should be or not). We've tried using hot taps at different times of the day, letting them run for several minutes and although it begins to feel like it's warming for a second, it then goes stone cold. Have tried switchy offy-switchy ony but without success!

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be and if it's likely to be easily fixed or involve a hefty repair bill?

Thanks so much!

The Celsia 24Le is just the same as the Worcester 24CDi; just the British Gas Version-
Its probably the diverter valve, a diaphragm service kit should do the job! With regards to price, don't know about local gas engineers, but British Gas charge £156 parts and labour (On Call Assist)- That should be good if the whole diverter valve's knackered, but I would doubt so.
