hey guys , i have 2 ceilings in my house i need to paint . they are both silk and they need to go matt i have reas on here all the tips etc. being a builder i use alot of unibond ( pva) i was just wondering if i could give the ceilings a off- neat coat of pva then let them dry and paint them with 2 coats of matt ? cheus for any help

Do not use PVA if your going to paint on it. I personally would put two coats of matt on top, you could put a coat of oil based undercoat, thinned down on it first then a coat of matt emulsion, that would work ok.
 
sorted in the end. got some solvent undercoat and thinned it down and rolled it on the ceiling so it dried matt, then painted it with matt emulsion job done :D
