Help, Please!!

Potterton He Powermax boiler approx 3 years old.

Symptons: Power going to boiler control panel - on off switch is amber but control panel not lit so boiler not operational and now freezing me gonads off!!

Can see that there is a battery inside along with 2 x 3.15a slowblow fuses but cannot tell if fuses have blown (not usual glass ones, think ceramic)

Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance

Without some electrical testing its difficult to guess what might have happened.

Fuses are tested with a continuity meter, NOT by looking at them although some can be seen to have blown but they can still have failed even though they look OK.

You may have to get a professional in !

Have bought some new fuses and still no joy, am guessing that this is the actual pcb that has gone (seems a common fault with pottertons) the code number for the pcb is 5107535 - any ideas where to get one from?

Blindly changing parts can be very expensive!

Better having the fault diagnosed properly.
