Hi, first time poster on here.

I've recently had an Accenta alarm fitted (fitter has gone walkabout so can't ask him!). I've an LCD keypad at the backdoor, an LED keypad at the front door, 3 PIR's, 1 covering front door, 1 covering lounge and 1 covering the back door - I have no sensors on any doors. I can exit via the front and back doors using the keypads as normal and I can enter via the front door as normal. What I can't do is enter via the backdoor without the alarm immediately going off, ie I have no countdown chime to give me chance to enter my code.

Any ideas how I rectify this?????

Thanks in advance.

If you have the engineers code , just change the zone that protects the back door to a timed zone (page 34 in the manual).
Obviously I don't have knowledge of your property , but its usually best to only have one ex/ent route, and coming in through the back door could be more dangerous ( darker , more isolated).

Thanks for the reply.
I managed to get hold of a manual from here and put the delay on the back door zone.

Cheers.
