The internal side of this patio door lock is missing and I don’t have keys for the out side. So I want to replace the cylinder bit of the lock. But I don’t know what the lock is called. I hope someone can direct me in the right direction. A name for the lock would be help full. I think the inside would have a thumb turn.

Please look at the pictures from all angles. The catch bit is made by Adams Rite and I think, it’s the one in the link below. But this bit is ok. I need the other part, which turns the catch.

Hi,
The picture that shows you holding a screwdriver is a scandinavian oval. They are available as a single cylinder external or a pair external and internal or an external cylinder with a thumb turn internally.
See http://www.abloy.co.uk/Products/door-cylinders/scandinavian-oval/ for some pictures. This is from Abloy, a commercial type of lock not what you need.
From your photos I can not be certain of what was on the internal side.
My advice is make the parts that you have removed to your local locksmith shop and ask them to source the part that you need.
