Help with Mira Play electric shower

Using instant electric the heat is normally one, two or three levels, gas however has a variable flame hight so has a more flexible output. The heat output is matched to the hole size of the shower head so there is at least some pressure, but this may not always match. Water pressure, lime build up, and cold water temperature will all effect the output temperature.

Even using gas I note in the summer shower must always be used flat out as the rose is really not big enough and the instant heater closes down at around 12 kW, but in the Winter one can throttle back the output. The rose does need to match the instant heater and mine is really too small so the heater can never give the full 24 kW output, however the same shower head with an electric instant heater would give a dribble only.

To get a well controlled proper shower using electric you need a hot water store, even with gas having a hot water store is better. If you want a cheap shower you have to accept the limitations.

Any comments appreciated
The shower itself might be faulty, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with, and absolutely nothing remedial which can be done to, the electrical supply to it.

This is not an electrical problem - it is a plumbing one.
