Does anybody know where it's possible to buy 4.0mm 3 core hi-tuf cable from? I used to get it from TLC but they dont do it anymore. Thanks.

I emailed their sales dept. and they said they no longer stock it because the manufacturers increased the minimum order qty to 3000m!

I can't find anywhere selling it either. Just as well, its horrible stuff! Give me SWA any day.

what are you planning to use it for?

depending on the exact use 4mm split con may be a good substitute.

I've not been able to find split-con at any wholesaler - where do you get yours?

Any wilts wholesaler can get it next day - there main avonmouth branch next days it to any branch.

There Barnstaple branch stocks 4, 10 and 16 on the shelf.

All our other wholesalers stock it too - seems to be bigger around here than elsewhere.

I was going to use it to supply power to a detached garage. It was going to be suspended on a catenary wire and not buried which is why I haven't gone for SWA.

Split con is the best bet then.
