I intend to install a new cctv system, I am considering Hikvision DS-7204HUHI-F1/S dvr and 5mp cameras DS-2CE56H1T-ITM.
I may yet go for 8 channel version of the dvr to allow for expansion.
I have been told that recordings of 5mp cameras will only playback in a aspect ratio of 4:3 instead of 16:9 is this correct.
Can I feed the cameras to the dvr in RG59 cable and twin cable for power instead of made up leads.
Will the dvr except older type analogue cams or just Hikvision types.
Will I be able to use PTZ cams on this dvr.
I would appreciate any advice and comments on my proposed system and a recommended supplier.
