Had the Worcester eng in and he suggested that we add Sentinel leak inhibitor to system as we have a small leak. He was concerned that I may try doing this myself as he said I needed to know what I was doing. Can anybody out there elaborate and give me some help and directions please ?

many thanks
Neil.

P.S the gauge sits at 1Bar for around 1 wk before showing any signs of a drop so must be very small leak. Boiler is less than 2 yrs old.

drain down an upstairs rad and add to that, then bring back upto preasure and check around.

it should give you instructions on the bottle you get also

Also whos he?? a plumber or heating engineer?

I have never found the Sentinel leak sealer to be very good. With such a new boiler you should be trying to trace the source of the leak and fix rather than just trying to 'bung' it up with gunk ;)
