Hi can anyone recommend a home system please.

Woke up today to find my tyres on van have been slashed.. Again!!
Don't know why, can't remember annoying anyone but can't afford for it to keep happening.

Basically looking for something that has night vision, sees clearly for a good distance, van is sometimes parked across the street.
Camera can be on inside of window if needed-does that make a difference?
Be nice to be able to record for a couple of days or program so just records at night through to morning.

Be nice if I could check it on iPhone/android device..

let me know if any other info is needed please, thanks in advance.

comes down to budget, but if your using good tyres youll soon get your money back if you catch the scum.

dont buy swan from maplin.

I would opt for HD what distance is the car fromthe house and how well lit is the area?

Sorry guys, didn't see you had replied.

Had another 2 tyres done since and so has a neighbour so looking to get a kit going as soon as possible.

Looking for something with approx 15-20m night vision if possible. There are street light/lamposts also.

Can anyone recommend anything to do the job please? Had a look online but not really sure what I'm looking for tbh.

Was thinking budget of £200 but if this is unreasonable then please let me know, I'm not sure.

Thanks in advance

£200 ? Will get you low end buget diy equipment ..... Just testing some hikvision turbo TVI camers/ dvr 1080 res over standard coax 2mp vast picture quality over standard cctv... You could probably get a 4 way Dvr and camera for around £300 mark and you can also fit standard cameras on this system.

Willing to pay £300 if it works pal, sorry for being lazy don't suppose you have any links to a kits, I don't know what I'm looking for at all.

I buy from dynamic cctv but that's trade only will have a look to see who else is selling this as it is pretty new, I ve a a feeling MAP security is selling it .

If your budget will allow it, you may want to look at getting an outside IP cam. Possibly with PTZ control as well.

Axis are a good make, but likely to expensive for your budget.

Another option is this: http://foscam.co.uk/products/foscam-fi9828w-white-wireless-ip-camera-ptz.html

Also like any IP cam, unless you want to set up your own local cam/cctv server, you should also look into cloud storage such as http://foscam.us/foscam-cloud , http://www.ivideon.com/pricing/#!/pricing/premium , http://www.camcloud.com/ , etc...
