Honeywell Pir IS312 Look-Down ?

Hi,

Have some of the above Pirs with the Accentra installation kit, but just cannot work out exactly what the purpose of the Look-Down feature is ?
Searched the web /Honeywell brochures etc but nothing clear ...?

The unit has a separate jumper to allow Pet Immunity so not sure what the purpose of the Look-Down flap is ?

Could someone please enlighten me as to its intended function and in what circumstances its normally Enabled ( flap down) or Disabled (flap up).

You can't have a look down zone with a pet tolerant pir

The device /instructions say its by default jumpered to Pet Immunity On and the Look Down shield up / Disabled, so why have they fitted both ?

Is Look Down just a mechanical method of pet immunity ?
