I have a hoover Eco Wave washing machine that intermittenly fails to allow the door to be opened or will not complete the final spin. I have put it off for ages now but enough is enough I must fix it as it has now affected me and not just my wife...

The reason that I suspect the door switch is that the whole thing stopped working when I was looking for the fault. I had the power on and the machine was stopped on the spin cycle. I slammed the door shut and the machine sparked into life!!! It now appears to be working OK but this will not last for long.

It seems to be a nightmare to gain access to the switch. There must be an easy way to access / remove it. does anyone know how to?
NEil
