Hello All

Have a Hoover Nextra that stopped pumping water out of the appliance, remove pump and checked coil which was open circuit. New pump was circa £40 where as universal was around £7. Label details on side of pump were missing so ordered universal 220-240v pump.

Fitted pump to housing and tested pump on bench, all ok. Fitted to machine after a small wring mod (2 x connectors) so would fit universal pump connection and NO PUMPING.... Checked output with meter, reading around 170V AC to pump.

Can anyone tell me the original spec of the pump for this machine is it 220-240 or something strange? Is the control board u/s ?

Have checked for blockage in waste hose or kinks, also is he filter blocked?

No blockage, pump was open circuit (no resistance) therefore non functioning.

I figure i should be reading 220-240 feed to the pump, but does this machine have some strange voltage rated pump?
