Hoover Washer/Dryer won't spin out!

I have a hoover Washer/Dryer WE140 and it won't spin, you can get it to fill up with water and move the switch around to get it to empty but cant get it to go around, i've checked the drive belt and thats ok!

Any suggestions please as i can't really afford £83 call out from Gaas as i've blown all my wages on the kids pressies for this month, any help would be really appreciated!

Hi,

Had the same type of problem with my washing machine. Would fill but not spin (it would skip the spin cycle for the draining cycle)Eventually tracked it down to a blocked pipe leading to a pressure switch at the rear of the drum.

I'm no expert but try to locate this pipe and (with a bit of tugging) it should easily come away from both the drum and switch. Mine was gunked up with Limescale. As soon as it was cleared the machine worked fine.
