horizontal cable runs between sockets?

Hi,

I just want to check that horizontal cable runs between sockets on the ring is acceptable. I have seen other posts confirming this, but i just want to be sure given the new regs.

I am extending my kitchen ring (then getting part p cert). Also, can somebody please confrim the latest safe areas!?

Yes, it is OK to run a cable horizontal between accessories in the safe zones.
There are two main ways to comply with part p, notify your LABC and pay their fee before you start and let them oversee compliance with the building regs or get a person who is a member of a competent person scheme to do it and leave the certification up to them.
