Hi,
I'm going to install a new bath and shower mixer and i've just had a new condensing boiler fitted into the bathroom.
The current pipework takes both the hot and cold supply directly from the new boiler as a legacy of the old gravity fed system (22mm pipework), but it would be easier to plumb the new bath and shower with cold supply before it reaches the boiler. (expand from 15mm supply to 22mm for the bath taps and keep 15mm to the Shower control)
If the cold supply is supplied directly to the bath / shower and the hot supply is downstream of the boiler would it cause any problems (e.g. would there be too much of a pressure drop of the hot supply with a thermostatic shower?)
Thanks for any replies in advance.
Simon
