I have recently flushed my CH with Sentinel x800. In the morning I noticed that the pump was quite hot but when I touched the in/out pipes they were not as hot as the pump. I then turned on the CH to check any blockage and the pump was circulating water correctly.

Is it normal for a pump to be hot when not in use?
