weve been in our new house for 2 years now and the hot water has always been HOT, tried turning the stat on the water tank right down but it was still HOT, we just put up with it but i decided to get a new clamp on stat, wired it up just as the old one was and its made no difference....

anyone got any ideas please

It HAS to be a stat problem as it should cut the power to heater when it reaches set temp.

Maybe the wiring needs checking. :D

Boiler is a vokera mynute 20E and hasnt got an emersion.

Any links to wiring diagrams will be appreciated.

also any links to pipework layouts?

thanks again

does the boiler shut off when cyl stat is turned down?

dont have a pipework diagram

do you want boiler or system wiring diagram

when the cylinder stat is rturned right down the water is cold

ive found a pipework diagram on the net and it looks like my 2 valves are on the return to the boiler and not the flow side as per the diagram

im guessing mine is wrong??
